are you connected via switch or direct?

are both network cards in VMware connected to the same Vswitch

for ISCSI vmkernal network can have only one vmnic active.

if you have two vmnics in the same vswitch you should have

2 vmkernal defined for ISCSI. and define vmnics as one active and one unused in one VMkernal

and the same in the other VMkernal but this time reverse the roles of the vmnics.
