Can't ping both host ports on MSA 2050

Hi!
I have two ProLiant DL380 Gen10 connected to a MSA 2050.
I have setup all the iSCSI stuff in VMware 6.7 according to best practise.
But when I try ping the host ports (A1 and B1) from the host A only A1 replies.
And when I ping the ports (A3 and B3) from host B only B3 replies.

When I disconnect the cable to A1, I get no replies at all when pinging from Host A.
And when I disconnect B3, I get no replies when pinging from Host B.
 
Is that normal behavior?
